This Thursday, Genomics Lite is back!

Genomics Lite is a webinar series running until 8 July. Each Thursday, scientists and researchers explore how genomics techniques and knowledge can be used in the fields of biodiversity and evolution.

In Session 3, postdoctoral research fellow Petra Korlevic is exploring the history of malaria, and discussing the question: How have humans affected the evolution of malaria and mosquitoes?

Petra works at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory’s European Bioinformatics Institute, or EMBL-EDI for short. Her work sequencing a genus of the mosquito is contributing to the Darwin Tree of Life project.
