Hi there! I’m 31 and I’ve been working in science communication for 4 years now. Started off down the research/lab route (undergraduate degree and PhD in chemistry) but slowly shifted towards the education and engagement jobs about halfway through my PhD. Very lucky to get involved with outreach events and science festivals etc. alongside my research and realised that it was something I wanted to do all the time. Lots of bumps in the road along the way (short contracts, companies downsizing…) but feeling much more settled in my current role at the Earlham Institute.
